Adapting Karen Joy Fowler's international best seller into a film, first time director Robin Swicord seems to have found a wonderful and intelligent cast of actors (Maria Bello, Emily Blunt, Hugh Dancy, Kathy Baker, Amy Brenneman) to portray the members of a book club who end up taking more from Jane Austen's writings than they bargained for. Yes, the romantic comedy is a genre I love!

Cannes 2007 recap: Kurt Russell talks Death Proof

With the simultaneous releases of Death Proof and Planet Terror as separate films outside of the US, Quentin Tarantino found his ode to the cult Grindhouse cinema in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

Though it was cooly recieved, fans of the genre came out praising the dastardly ways of actor Kurt Russell who plays serial killer Stuntman Mike.

[Spoiler Alert] Check out his interpretation of how Stuntman Mike reacts when his targets turn the table around and manage to inflict pain on him.
