Wednesday morning montage

Fanboy alert!! For those of you who were around in the 1980s and were reading American comics (yeah, maybe not a whole heap of you) those were the salad days. Frank Miller was cranking out RONIN and, of course, THE DARK KNIGHT graphic novel. On the other side of the pond, Alan Moore was creating masterpieces like V FOR VENDETTA and what has been regarded in some circles as one of the best graphic novels of all time, THE WATCHMEN. Comingsoon.net has the synopsis for the film adaptation which closely matches the graphic novel and has a strong focus on Rorschach (that's him on the bottom with the white mask)--one of the most memorable characters in the novel. Best of all, Zack Snyder who directed 300 is helming this one. Can't wait!!!Indiana Jones 4 is still on tap, but Lucasfilm says they're not building another franchise. With Harrison Ford already 65 years old, I don't see why they would. Can you imagine another actor playing Indy?
More sequel mania...for all you SHREK fans out there, the big green ogre may be back for another 2 more installments. SHREK 3 was fun but I can't see what they're going to spoof now. I hope they take a step back and try hard to come up with something fresh and new.
