Bourne Again

Matt Damon.  Oscar-nominated actor.  Oscar-winning screenwriter.  And now $70 million dollar man.  THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, the third in the Bourne series, broke the record for the best opening ever in August with $70M on 3,660 screens.  Coming in second was THE SIMPSONS MOVIE in its second week in release in the States.  UNDERDOG had a solid premiere in 3rd place at $12M.

I really liked the first two and I think Paul Greengrass is underappreciated as a director.  Plus, Damon is always solid and despite the fact that he won't take part in a fourth episode you can always count on a great performance.  The BOURNE series works so well now, that it's become the de facto standard for espionage action-thrillers to the point where CASINO ROYALE looked more like BOURNE than any of its martini-drinking forebears.

I can't wait to see it.  But wait I will because it's releasing in just a few days across most of Asia.  See below, but as always, check your local listings:
