Star Sports continued its expansion the sports business with the acquisition of the rights to the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and also became an active partner in the sports promotion and popularity.
Premiering on 22 December, the show ruled the 8-pm time slot with 7.3 TVM on the launch day itself. The show went on to beat the best launched show of 2014, rival Zee TV’s ‘Jamai Raja’, which was at No. 1 with 5.5 TVM on the launch day.
