Star Sports President Nitin Kukreja said, “We will be launching these new sports channels in the next few months. We are committed to investing in newer sports and this just means that we need to have the channel capacity to showcase such content.”

- For the first time in Indian broadcasting history, Star World Premiere HD will raise the curtain on its highly-anticipated and biggest TV shows from its upcoming fall calendar on Twitter before they debut on Television. Bringing to Indian viewers a never-before-experience, the channel will showcase a number of complete premiere episodes nationally on Twitter.
