However, in order to discuss the impact that the show has had on the society, Star Network has decided to shoot another special concluding episode. This episode will put forth a record of how a TV series managed to bring about winds of change in just 13 weeks. The last show is titled Satyamev Jayate Ka Safar.

"The show focussed on compelling stories that raised the bar for TV programming. With the kind of feedback we had received, we felt that it was important to thank our viewers for their support and participation." says Uday Shankar, CEO Star India.
The episode will be telecast at 11 am on Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star World, Star Jalsha and Doordarshan on Independence Day. Later, it will be aired on Star Vijay, Asianet and ETV on August 19. Actor-host Aamir shot for the episode a few days before leaving for the US to shoot Dhoom 3.
According to the show's data, SMJ received a staggering 1.4 crore responses from all over the world through SMS, social media, their official website, emails and letters. The donations over the 13 episodes have exceeded
R8 crore. "It's important for people to know how much money was collected and where it has been channelised. This special episode will be the best way to bid farewell to the first season," concludes Uday.
