Chokher Tara Tui is the new show on Star Jalsha that is getting launched on 24th March’14 in the 7.30pm slot.
The show marks the comeback of Ritabhori to small screen. Ritabhori who won over the hearts of Bengal with her portrayal of Lolita in ‘Ogo Bodhu Sundari’, has since remained a coveted star with audiences expressing their desire to see her on television once again. Cast opposite Ritabhori is Joy Mukherjee the famous Tollywood actor. His casting in the show is sure to take the glamor quotient to a whole new level as he plays the real life in reel. A popular movie star, he plays the same role in the serial. They are joined by an illustrious cast which includes Papiya Adhikari, Sumitra. The show is being produced by Magic Moments who have given us the hit show Ishtikutum.
The story of the show is based on the life of Tutul and her remarkable journey to achieve her dreams. Tutul is a simple girl from the small town of Madhupura. Orphaned at a young age, Tutul has been brought up by her extended family. She is sprightly and vivacious and lives life to the fullest. She is madly in love with Ayush, the celebrated movie star. Tutul’s only aim in life is to be with Ayush and have him in her life. And like love sees no reason Tutul too defies all reasons to start out on an extraordinary journey to fulfill this dream of hers. Her journey is packed with entertaining plot twists like those in the movies and is sure to offer an emotional roller coaster ride.
The story has struck a chord relatable to one and all, who have sometime in their lifetime experienced a crush for a celebrity or a silver screen personality. But when seen through the filter of rationality, most of the times they have refrained ourselves. Tutul however has not limited herself and has surpassed all barriers to fulfill her dream of making the reel life hero her real life’s as well.
The channel has launched a beautifully shot music video for the show. The music video which features Joy and Ritabhori is shot amidst scenic outdoors, stylish costumes and impeccable cinematography. The entire package is an exciting watch. The sequence has been choreographed by Aditya Tamang and directed by Shirsho Roy. The song composed by Debajyoti Mishra is itself very ethereal and dreamy in a throwback to classic Tollywood romance.
