National, March 3, 2015: Dreams, drama and glamour, Life OK's upcoming show Dream Girl, has it all. The story is about her dream and the extent she goes in its pursuit.

Nikita Dutta aka Lakshmi will be seen playing lead role of struggling Bollywood actress. Shraddha Arya will be seen playing the role of yesteryear superstar turned successful entrepreneur Ayesha Sareen. While Lakshmi’s love interest will be essayed by Samar Sareen aka Mohsin Khan, who is shown to be Bollywood's most promising new face and Lakshmi’s dream co-star, with whom she wants to launch her career.

Commenting on the show, Life OK spokesperson said, “Set in a time where the youth today does not mind taking short cuts to achieve their dreams and equates happiness to fame, the story portrays Lakshmi’s chase for her dreams that comes at a cost and teaches her biggest lessons that only make her stronger & resilient”.

Said Producers,Shashi-Sumeet Mittal, “This is our third endeavor with Life OK and we are extremely delighted about the association. Dream Girl is a story about dreams and aspirations that every girl like Lakshmi beholds and has a head full of Bollywood dreams. Actors Speak:

Lakshmi- Nikita Dutta

“I am making my television debut with Dream Girl and hence this role is very special for me. What prompted me to take up this show was the uniqueness of Lakshmi’s character; how she cuts corners to get her work done and has a solution to every problem.  I had to match up to the confidence and splendour that Lakshmi possesses to validate the character. It was indeed a tough pick for me.”

Samar Sareen/ Raj Samosewala- Mohsin Khan

“I get to play two different characters in the show, one of a nonchalant Raj samosa vendor and other of a high profile Bollywood actor. I had to juggle and get into the shoes of two different personalities in order to justify the characters I play. Both Raj and Samar are full of energy and positive attitude and I am hopeful that people will have fun watching these two different shades.”

Ayesha Sareen- Shraddha Arya

“Dream Girl holds a lot of importance in my life and career to me as it is my third show with Life OK and producers Shashi-Sumeet Mittal. It is like a homecoming for me. Ayesha’s character is very different from all the characters I have played in the past and hence quite challenging as well. Getting into the character of a glamorous actress and an authoritative entrepreneur was a tough one to play and bring alive on screen. Hope the audiences accept me in this new avatar.”

Shot in various locales of Jodhpur, the viewers will be a part of Lakshmi’s fascinating journey as she gets on board to achieve her dreams. The show will mark the television debut of Nikita Dutta essaying the role of the lead protagonist, Lakshmi.

Will Lakshmi find her way smoothly or will her fortune spell with a price unknown to her?
