27 April 2016

The most awaited awards of  Indian television, the annual Star Parivaar Awards are back with the biggest stars to celebrate  the achievements and successes of the entire Star Plus family. It was an evening high on glamour, style and celebrity quotient. Star Plus, a pioneer that has many firsts to its credit, set the trend 14 years ago by bringing together the biggest stars of television as a Parivaar to celebrate and reward the amazing work done by each of them over the year, while entertaining their viewers through unique and awe-inspiring performances. The legacy continues.

Dressed in their best, television’s most sought after actors walked the Star Parivaar red carpet amidst cheering fans and flashing camera lights. Along with the iconic characters of Star Plus, the new entrants into the family made heads turn too.  Akshara, Sandhya, Ishita, Raman, Naitik, Dharaa, Adarsh, Dharmesh, and the God of dancing Remo were among the many who walked the glamorous red carpet of the STAR Parivaar Awards.
The Star Parivaar Awards has always reinvented itself over the years and the new version of the classic Star Parivaar Awards anthem by the super duo Meet Bros. is a celebration of youth. Sung by Palak Muchal and Arman Malik, the foot-tapping number definitely set the bar for the night to come.
Hosts Adarsh and Shivam kept the audience in splits with their terrific chemistry and comic timing and co-Host Raman made the crowd go wild every time he set foot on stage.  With performances by the entire Star Parivaar setting the stage on fire, the audiences spent half the night on their feet cheering for them all. From a classical dance performance by divas Sandhya, Gopi, Kajal and Swadheenta to a surprisingly energetic act by the seniors Shanti Devi, Janki Devi, Baa and Dadaji, and from a mesmerizing romantic performance by the most popular jodis on Star Plus to a foot-tapping rendition of chart-busters by Meera, Adarsh and Shagun, the evening truly reflected the channel’s brand philosophy of Rishta Wohi, Soch Nayi. Standing tall and a class apart was the brilliantly and aesthetically choreographed immortal love story of Sita and Ram which left everyone awe-struck. The highlight of the evening was the live performance by Bollywood sensation Badshah who left the crowd cheering for more.
Talking about the extravaganza, a STAR Plus spokesperson said, “Star Parivaar Awards has grown to become a brand by itself and is eagerly awaited by both artists and the viewers alike.
