JOHN "PHIL" RITCHIE

Hometown: Salisbury, Maryland
Born in a small Maryland town called Shadyside, John "Phil" Ritchie and his family moved around quite a bit, and they settled down in the beach town of Ocean City, Maryland, finally. John, who was a straight A student, was also a member of the Marching Band in which he played the trumpet. He also performed in the school jazz band where some rock band guys asked him to audition for their lead singer. Finally, the band, Lennex, was formed.
While in Lennex, John has toured the country and played with many traditional acts including Bon Jovi, The Goo Goo Dolls, Cake, Cold, Fuel, and Finger Eleven. They also played the famous WHFStival twice. His musical influences include Failure, Tom Pretty, Tool, and A Perfect Circle, to name a few.
