JOSH LOGAN
Day Job: Musician
Hometown: Manchester, New Hampshire
Josh Logan followed his mother, who was a karaoke DJ, and began his music career at the very young age of 14. Determined to excel as a musician and song writer, Josh added the guitar to his talents chiselling his craft as a self-taught musician. By age 15, Josh performed as front man for the popular local band, Gunshy, at many packed venues. At the age of 18, Josh's family was on a rocky road after the demise of Gunshy. Josh then discovered rap artist Tupac Shakur and a new dimension was added to his lyrics and creativity.
Then, Josh was able to make an impressive name for himself throughout New England and several other states. He has toured throughout the college circuit, opening for national touring act Recycled Percussion and has been involved in workshops and conferences. Afterwards, he developed his skills as a solo musician. Named "The Hardest Working Musician in Manchester" by The Hippo Press in 2003 and awarded one of the top 100 semi-finalist in the Disc Makers "Independent Northeast Songwriting Competition", Josh continues to actively perform throughout New England having shared the stage with national recording artists. Josh released his self-titled full length CD in 2004 and the first single "Painful Breath" has been played on radio Clear Channel stations. |
