This is a product team lead for the Product and Revenue Strategy team for the English Genre (World & Movies). This individual is expected to be a key link between Content team and Sales teams and drive the brand philosophy and sales/revenue strategy for the channel to optimize channel inventory. This will be done through effective forecasting, planning, pricing and property integrations based on deep understanding of customer needs and patterns.
- REVENUE AND YIELD DELIVERY
Delivering revenue targets by category of accounts across channel/cluster of channels Meeting yield objectives of annual plan
- BUSINESS PLANNING
Building bottom up revenue plan for the fiscal, quarter & month Developing pricing & packaging for customer segments Scoping market opportunity at a client level & reviewing sales funnel Supporting operational tasks on rate cards, internal deal approvals, client sales proposals etc.
- PRODUCT UNDERSTANDING
Developing insights into the genre & channel deliveries to develop customized pitches for clients Creating & implementing trade marketing agenda for the channel – Mailers, On Air promos, etc. Liaising with Channel GM to understand product changes planned, new monetization opportunities etc.
- STRATEGIC FORECASTING
Creating revenue business plan for the channel Tracking performance vs. annual plan, revising forecasts etc.
- TEAM MANAGEMENT
Building bench strength in team by providing coaching and shaping next in line Establishing clear deliverables and work plans for rest of team
- Minimum Qualification : MBA (Premier or Tier 1 management institute)
- With at least 10-12 years of post-qualification experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong quantitative and analytical ability
- Knowledge of BARC, Media express, BI/BO tools desirable
- Excellent quantitative aptitude
- Strong Interpersonal skills with an assertive personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage relations with multiple clients and motivate/ create a high performance team
