CONTEXT
The position is primarily responsible for driving all B2C and B2B marketing initiatives of the channel to maximize the channel’s reach growth and generate positive, impactful conversation for its content.
To deliver the target market share/revenues/GRPs for the channel by ensuring seamless execution of all marketing initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Execution of all Marketing Initiatives:
Planning and execution of impactful 360-degree marketing campaigns for new show launches to deliver reach targets
To plan, execute and monitor weekly playout of all promotional elements on Star Kirano
To execute the brand building initiatives as per the brand activity calendar
To create an impactful presence of the brand on social media platforms and ensure maximum engagement of the pages through regular promotional content creation
To deploy on-ground reach drive initiatives through help increase channel’s reach growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and smooth execution of all promotional activities.
Collaboration with revenue verticals –
(a) AD sales & PRS – Should be able to collaborate with revenue strategy team & programming team to help achieve revenue numbers. Should understand the ways of product integration & co-branding. Should enable, execute and monitor a robust sales intervention calendar which will deliver topline numbers
(b) Distribution Sales – Should be able to conceptualize and create a plan that will help increase channel subscription base & revenues. Needs to collaborate & facilitate Distribution Sales / Strategy Team as per requirement
Business Support - Drive special projects / initiative when assigned
QUALIFICATION
7-8 years’ experience in the communications business, preferably with media or advertising background
MBA: Marketing
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A thorough understanding of the socio-cultural landscape of Orissa
Should be able to read and speak Oriya
Analytical skills would be strong
Technically savvy, with very good communication (written, verbal and email etiquette)
Ability to evolve methods, approaches and philosophies to accommodate expectations
