KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive projects of long-term importance that will significantly 'change the business'
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement, re-engineering, automation and digital transformation
- Deliver transformation through re-engineering, automation, consolidation and innovation in business processes, to enhance
- Commercial value of the business, in terms of both revenue and cost
- Quality, accuracy and timeliness of business processes
- Customer, stakeholder and employee experience
- Manage the overall project process effectively
- Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables and interim milestones for each project at the start and ensure adherence to outlined process and timelines
- Engage with project sponsor and business head regularly on solution
- Identify areas requiring cross-functional/ senior management approval and ensure timely setup of Steering Committee Meetings
Own project solution delivery end-to-end
- Leverage subject matter expertise of project sponsor and their team and integrate solution components driven by multiple functions as part of the overall solution
- Pro-actively seek out outside-in learnings (e.g. by studying external benchmark companies, by leveraging external experts/ consultants on specific topics) to build best-in-class solutions
- Critically challenge and enhance solutions developed by team and other stakeholders
- Provide support to functions to continue execution of solution post rollout and stabilization
- Transfer ownership of project solution to respective function sponsor and on-board function teams with the requisite capabilities to deploy solution
Share and evangelize the business transformation agenda in the organization
- Gain buy-in across the organization on the new changed ways of working to ensure that partner-facing teams drive change in the end-consumer ways of working
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- No. of Technology and process improvements to reduce/ eliminate non-customer facing activities and cost
- % BT budget utilized
- On time delivery of projects
- Achievement of the agreed project deliverables
- Achievement of business targets post roll-out of initiatives
- Quality of solution delivered in Business Transformation projects
QUALIFICATION
- MBA from a premier institute / CA Ranker (preferred), or Bachelors degree (required)
- 10-15 years of work experience, with at least 6-7 years in Process Excellence / Transformation functions
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt, in-role and/or with certification
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Practitioner)
- Robotic Process Automation (Expert)
- Ability to “Re-think” or “re-imagine” business processes (Understanding)
- Project & program design, planning and execution (Practitioner)
