KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
His/her responsibilities will be
- To drive & spearhead all our employee communications initiatives
- Co-ordinate with members of the team and other departments to ensure that our various internal and external communications activities are leveraged to the fullest across all our communication platforms to generate maximum visibility for the organization
- Work closely with the team to ensure improvement of brand and employer perception
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- Employee Feedback – via surveys or focus groups which would act as a key indicator of how efficiently we are communicating and engaging with them
- Channel Reach – How efficiently we leverage our various communications channels to tell our story will be an important performance measure of the individual
- Channel Usage – How creatively and appealingly we develop our various communications will determine the level of engagement with audiences
- Development of an effective audience demographics metric to better target communications
QUALIFICATION
- The preferred candidate will have at least 12-15 years of work experience in managing internal & external communications for a large organization. The candidate should have an understanding of communication across all Social Media platforms.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Very strong writing skills with a nose for news – a storyteller at heart
- Sound understanding of the workings of various communication channels – intranet, corporate website, social media, traditional media etc.
- International exposure will be an added advantage

- This role requires a high level of interaction and collaboration, both within the team as well as with colleagues in other businesses and functions. Having the right temperament and the ability to engage with stakeholders – senior and junior – is an important prerequisite, as is maintaining a collegial manner within the team
- The ideal candidate is someone who can deliver against tight deadlines and does not easily get ruffled by the deluge of demands and tasks that come their way
- The individual is someone who will work closely with colleagues within the team and assist them in delivering against their goals
- The candidate should be able to bring in new ideas to the table.
