KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement annual Marketing and Communication plan for the channel brand and its programming line-up for allocated shows and slots
- Key driver for all impact campaigns/show launch campaigns as well as sustenance initiatives (both On Air & Off Air) to help grow the channel viewership for allocated shows and slots
- Plan and manage the marketing and OAP budget of the channel, as well as all creative and media agencies working on the brand
- Mapping and understanding the consumer behavior, through deep collaboration with the Insights team to identify the right communication levers basis consumer feedback on content and promotion for allocated shows and slots
- Directly responsible for all programming & channel related communication across all mediums, like TV, print, digital, offline etc. for the allocated shows and slots. This includes:
- Brand Marketing
- Impact
- Sustenance
- PR
- Digital marketing
- Ground activation & events
- Own the role of the partnering with Ad Sales organization and be the channel brand custodian.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- Ability to co-work and collaborate with peer leaders in marketing, programming, strategy and OAP
- Annual Channel GRP Target – Overall and Primetime
- Delivering growth in slot reach for show launches and sustenance campaigns for allocated shows and slots
- Ensuring high awareness for launches
- Adherence to marketing budgets
- Growth in Brand Equity scores
- High Collaboration with Ad Sales org and drive brand solutions and other partnerships
QUALIFICATION
- MBA from tier-1 institute with specialization in Marketing
- 12-18 years’ experience
- Prior TV/Channel marketing experience is essential
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Well versed in integrated Marketing and Communication strategies, trained in bringing digital/social and offline media together to create powerful campaigns
- Passion for content-understands the power of content to transform behaviors and influence popular culture
- Demonstrated excellent cross-functional skills in previous roles, including presentation skills
- Strong leadership, time management and communication skills
- Strong sense for structure and logic- ability to develop, test and validate hypotheses, competent at analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data
- Experience managing teams or individuals is essential
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Passionate about movies and TV with a deep interest and knowledge of the Indian entertainment industry as well as global streaming and entertainment landscape
- Keen understanding or interest in Indian culture and history, including current affairs and social media
- Definite interest pop culture and new media trends, including other entertainment

- Ability to distinguish nuances within different content genres and distill the essence of a
- movie/show, including sharing findings in an objective, concise manner
- Independent and innovative thinker, with ability to deal with complex data & creative problem solving
- Ability to deal with rapid change and navigate in a complex matrix org environment
