Star Plus captured the top 3 slots in weekday programming even as it was reduced to six shows in the top 10.

Star India CEO Uday Shankar said, "At STAR India, we believe in putting our energy and resources behind properties that tick four boxes - ambition, honour, bring value to society and have some commercial value. We know we are a long way off from monetising the Pro Kabaddi League. We are treating it as a start-up. We know it has potential and we know we'll have to wait and develop the League. I do not even have a sales team in place for the League."

Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK, said, “In our quest to find new sources of content, we have adapted the Spanish telenovela ‘Donde esta Elisa’. Compared to the original series, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ has been toned down keeping in mind the Indian audience and their acceptability. But it will still be by far one of the boldest shows on television.”
