Salman Khan and Star Gold are back together with the world TV premiere of the biggest blockbuster of 2014 – KICK. The highest grossing Bollywood film of 2014, KICK is all set for its World Television Premiere on Star Gold – Sunday, 28th September 2014, 8 pm

For majority of the audience who have missed the opportunity to watch Kick in the theatres and for those who can never have enough of watching Salman Khan, Star Gold presents an early television premiere of the film, telecasting it 2 months within its theatrical release. Star Gold aims to reach 20 million households with the TV premiere of this action-packed blockbuster, re-iterating its promise of being the Home of Blockbuster Premieres

Announcing the World TV premiere of Kick, Hemal Jhaveri, Executive Vice President of Star Gold said, “Besides being the box office king, Salman Khan’s movies have a humungous viewership on television. The premiere of Bodyguard on Star Gold yet ranks as the highest rated premiere on a Hindi movie channel till date. Kick has been received very well by the audiences, and we hope to entertain the viewers once again replicating the film’s success on television.”

Early 2014, Star India announced its acquisition of a fresh movie library comprising of 15 highly anticipated Bollywood films of the year. Star India continues to bring the best and biggest of Bollywood with television premieres of leading superstars such as Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and many more. After Singham, Bodyguard, Ra.One, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, Son of Sardaar, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho and many others; Kick is the latest worldwide blockbuster to premiere on Star Gold.

Salman Khan’s seventh film in the 100 crore club of Bollywood, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film has been produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala

 In 2013, Salman Khan and Star India network signed a deal for the television broadcast rights of his upcoming Bollywood films till 2017.
