Farhan Akhtar, Vishal Dadlani compose song for 'Save the Future of Mankind' movement

22 April 2015

Vishal Dadlani and Farhan Akhtar joined hands with Star Movies to compose a song for the 'Save The Future of Mankind' movement which aims to empower the youth to stand against gender inequality and remind the youth the power of being a superhero in day to day life through this movement.

On the association, Farhan Akhtar said, "The song 'Mutant Macha' is a collaborative effort between Skrat, Dadlani and myself. It's a song that portrays the ultimate hero, someone who stands for good in the most adverse of times. Our collaboration is keeping in spirit with the kinship that the world needs to create a united force for positivity. We have partnered with Star Movies to put out the song for the TV premiere of 'X-Men - Days of Future Past'".
Speaking about the song, the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram said, "The song talks about overcoming obstacles within ourselves, to achieve our maximum potential. To reach our targets. The times when we feel the weakest is the time we need to find the maximum inner strength. And I think that's a pretty inspirational message".
"The song talks about human emotions. At the end of the day real power is about overcoming the obstacles in you. And every human being is a superhero if he tries, that's what the song really talks about", he added.
The Goodwill Ambassador of South Asia also called out to all men and boys to be catalysts of change and through their actions create a system that ends gender disparity.
