GEC Watch: Finally, Life OK displaces Colors from No. 3 position

The channel adds maximum viewership among top Hindi GECs to beat Colors by a margin of 18 GTVM in Week 22 of TAM 2014.

After being being in and around the No. 3 position for several weeks, Life OK has finally unseated Colors from the No. 3 position in Week 22 of TAM 2014. Life OK achieved this by adding maximum viewership among top Hindi general entertainment channels and took a lead of 18 TVM over Colors.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 22 of TAM 2014 (May 25 – May 31) for CS 4+, HSM markets, as Star Plus continued to be at the top despite losing maximum viewership. Zee TV consolidated its position at No. 2. Life OK became the new No. 3 GEC pushing Colors to No. 4. Sony and SAB TV remained at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

Star Plus lost 44 TVM and dropped to 655 GTVMs with relative share of 27.72% (last week 699 TVM with 29.63% relative share).

Zee TV consolidated its No. 2 position by adding 13 TVM. The channel fetched 400 GTVM with a relative share of 16.93% (last week 387 TVM and 16.41% relative share).

Life OK  added maximum eyeballs this week and recorded 365 GTVM with a relative share of 15.45% (last week 333 TVM and 14.12%).

Colors dropped further to 347 GTVM with a relative share of 14.68%. (last week 360 TVM with 15.26% relative share).

Sony too added 27 TVM and garnered a gross viewership of 340 TVM with a relative share of 14.39%. (last week 313 TVM and 13.27% relative share).

SAB TV dropped to 256 TVM this week and recorded a relative share of 10.83% (last week 267 TVM TVM and 11.32% relative share).
