Life OK teams up with Arvind Babbal Productions to launch the biggest contemporary thriller Mahakumbh- Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani with Gautam Rode in the lead.

In the blaze of rage and vengeance, Rudra will unleash the biggest secret of 21st century that was kept hidden for ages and generations. Narrating the untold tale of this biggest Indian legend, Life OK in association with Arvind Babbal Productions is set to launch a contemporary mytho thriller Mahakumbh- Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani. The show will go on air from December 15, 2014, Monday to Friday 8pm.

Mahakumbh- Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani will see the handsome and talented actor Gautam Rode as the lead protagonist Rudra in a heroic avatar. With Mahakumbh, the national award winner and veteran actress Seema Biswas will make her television debut. Actors Payal Rajput, Manish Wadhwa, Robin Das, Ketki Dave and child actor Siddharth Nigam will also be seen essaying pivotal roles.

The premise of Mahakumbh- - Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani revolves around the journey of the enigmatic Rudra (Gautam Rode) who is hit by a life changing catastrophe while in the Kumbh Mela. He separates from his family as a child and meets Udiya baba (Robin Das) who takes him to the Ghats of Varanasi where Maii-Muii (Seema Biswas) protects and raises him. Rudra spends his childhood on the Ghats around the funeral pyres oblivious to the unprecedented powers he possesses. But he eventually discovers his purpose of existence that will lead him to the secret of Mahakumbh.

Mahakumbh- Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani is shot against the beautiful locales of Varanasi and Allahabad lending its authenticity to the story.
