Nikita Gandhi wins 'MasterChef India 4'

 After 11 weeks and 67 episodes of vegetarian food and high-intense drama, the time finally came for India to choose the winner of 'MasterChef India 4'. Nikita Gandhi, the 21-year-old from UAE, born in Ahmedabad, has now been chosen by millions of voters across India to bag the title of MasterChef India 4. The winner takes home a huge sum on one crore along with a golden chef coat.

The first runner up, Neha Shah from Mumbai, gets 10 lakhs and a trip for two to London which is sponsored by IndiaGate. The second runner up Bhakti Arora from Hyderabad/Jhansi, gets 5 lakhs.
“It is very difficult for me to sink in the feeling that I have won the title of MasterChef India. Firstly I would like to thank STAR Plus and the three judges Sanjeev Kapoor, Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar for getting me on the show and for giving me such a huge platform to portray my culinary talent. All the 3 judges have been such great mentors and a huge support. I would like to extend my love filled thank you to all my fans as they are responsible for my win! 'MasterChef India 4' has taught me the importance of Soch, Soorat and Swad in food”, commented an excited Nikita.
Culinary guru Chef Sanjeev Kapoor said, “Nikita has shown immense talent and proven great talent. She portrayed great culinary skills. She has been a consistent performer throughout the season and this is the reason why the audience have gone all out to vote for him. We all are very happy with the decision and hope all success comes her way. Congratulations to Neha and Bhakti as well for making it to the Top 3! All of them are winners for me.”
The finale was a grand affair, with some foot-tapping performances from the artists. To make the finale look more larger than life there were performance by Gurmeet- Debina and MasterChef India season 3 winner Ripu Daman Handa along with Shivang.
Kangna and Madhavan took part in a pani-puri making competition. Madhavan also showed interest in opening up a restaurant with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor which would be vegetarian.
The judges performed on a special song composed specially for 'MasterChef India 4' by themselves. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor even played the drums and the audience was overwhelmed. The surprise was when Preity Zinta, Marzi and Chetan Bhagat paid a visit on the set and shook a leg with Chef Vikas Khanna and cheered the 3 finalists. Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and Marzi will soon be seen as judges in 'Nach Baliye 7'.
Besides this, the eliminated contestants also came back on the show for the one last time and were seen cheering the 3 finalists. Raghu Ram hosted the show and kept the audiences entertained. He was seen playing the role of a comedian and not someone who usually scares contestants!
