Star Pravah dedicates one-hour slot to mythology programming

18 October 2013

?Marathi GEC Star Pravah has announced the launch of ‘Mahaparv’, a special programming initiative in the mythology genre. Star Pravah is the first Marathi GEC to foray into the mythology genre. The channel has already established its supremacy across genres like comedy, family drama, crime shows, and political thrillers.

Star Pravah, starting October 21, will telecast two highly successful shows from the Star Network – ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ and the currently on-air ‘Mahabharat’ – from Monday to Friday at 6 PM and 6.30 PM, respectively, dubbed in Marathi.

Jayesh Patil, Programming Head, Star Pravah, said, “Star Pravah has always tried to present a variety of entertainment to its viewers and mythology, as a genre, was missing across all Marathi GECs. Mahadev and Mahabharat are two extremely successful shows and therefore we decided to enter the genre with their dubbed versions.”
