starsports.Com launches 'The Sachin Memory Project'

STAR Sport's official website www.Starsports.Com has launched an interactive initiative called 'The Sachin Memory Project', dedicated to the legendary batsman Tendulkar's career.  

As part of the Sachin Memory Project (sachin.Starsports.Com), the website is undertaking a unique fan engagement initiative called 'The Big Picture'. The Big Picture will take extremely high-resolution 360-degree photos of the stadium three times every day across the five days of the Test match. It will be taking the photograph of the fans in the entire stadium during special moments. Ajit Mohan, head of digital business at Star India, says: "The response from the fans has been overwhelming. We are delighted that our tribute to Sachin has struck a chord." Fans present in the stadium can visit picture.Starsports.Com and search for themselves within the photographs, zoom into the photo and tag themselves on it after logging in via their Facebook account.They can also share their tagged picture, a truly historic moment, with their friends and family on Facebook. The site also allows the fan to search for and tag their Facebook friends in any of the photos. For those who couldn't make it to the stadium in person can use the "Wish you were here" feature on the site and tag themselves in any of the photos.
