Suvarna is now bigger with 'Star Suvarna'

 Suvarna, the Kannada General Entertainment Channel of Star Network is all set to be rechristened as Star Suvarna under the Star Network umbrella.

The 9-year-old Suvarna will be re-branded as Star Suvarna from the 25 July, 2016 and will reflect the distinctive culture and traditions of Karnataka through its differentiated content.
The channel takes its legacy forward with the new brand philosophy – ‘Sambandagal Hosa Spandana’. (The new rhythm of relationships). All the shows will reflect this new brand philosophy.
With the re-branding the channel is all set to launch ‘’Hara Hara Mahadeva’’ which is the biggest show in Indian Regional Television.
The show is the story of Lord Shiva & will describe his mysteries & miracles. The show is made with International standard production values & International graphics, which have never been done on regional television. The show airs from 25th July and will be seen at 1930 hours Monday to Friday.
The content offering will further see a ramp up with bigger investments across genres – Fiction, Non Fiction & events Further to the mega launch of ‘’Hara Hara Mahadeva’’ the channel plans to launch an array of new shows, 2 weekend non-fiction shows & a new fiction show are lined up to launch in the next few weeks.
A new team of experts has been roped in to ensure the production values & making of the shows are of impeccable standards.

25th July will also see the brand change of Suvarna Plus – the Kannada movie channel of Star Network to ‘’Star Suvarna Plus’’, This channel is a unique combination of Movies & Sports. The channel will continue to showcase national level sporting events like Star Sports Pro Kabbadi League in Kannada & offer best of titles from the Kannada movie industry.
A 360 degree marketing plan has been rolled out to establish the new brand logo and identity while also building up the launch of ‘’Hara Hara Mahadeva’’. Key mediums of communication are TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor & Digital. This is one of the biggest marketing roll out ever in the Kannada Entertainment space.
