Star Pravah achieves the coveted Guinness World Record for the World Television Premier of the movie Ved starring Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh

Star Pravah, Maharashtra’s No. 1 channel created a landmark achievement for the World Television Premiere of Ved. A heart shape was formed using more than 1300 umbrellas and thus creating a new Guinness World Record for the largest umbrella image/logo. The heart signifies the beautiful love story of Ved and umbrellas were used to mark the iconic scene from the movie. A record of such is the first time ever for a Marathi movie or a Marathi channel. Indeed, it is a very proud moment for Maharashtra and puts the state on the world map.

To celebrate the premiere, Star Pravah has created a Guinness World Record in the presence of the movie Director and Actor, Riteish Deshmukh. The movie marks the directorial debut of Riteish Deshmukh and also the debut of Genelia D’Souza in a Marathi movie. Their love story and chemistry captivated the entire state of Maharashtra and became a blockbuster hit at the box office with a collection of more than 75 Cr.
