Star Plus and Sony remain stable while Zee TV continues losing GRPs touching a new low

As expected, with the launch of Bigg Boss, Colors has bounced back at No.2 position in the week 41 (Oct 2 –of TAM 2011). The opening episode of the show on Sunday, 2nd October has garnered 4.3 TVR; however, it has averaged 2.1 TVR from Monday to Saturday.

On the other hand, Star Plus and Sony remained stable in the week 41 while Zee TV continued losing GRPs.

India’s No.1 Hindi general entertainment channelStar Plushas maintained its leadership by retaining eyeballs in the week 41. The channel has recorded 304 GRPs (last week 306).

With the launch of season 5 of Bigg Boss and a few changes in primetime programming,Colorshas added 50 GRPs to regain its No.2 position in the week 41. It has recorded 255 GRPs this week (last week 205).

Despite losing its No.2 position to Colors,SonyEntertainment Television (SET)has been able to retain its viewers and recorded 248 GRPs (last week 249).

As No.4 Hindi GEC,Zee TVis now 106 GRPs behind Sony. The channel has further lost 15 GRPs to touch a new low at 142 GRPs this week (last week 157).

SAB TVhas recorded 121 GRPs in Week 41 (last week 126).

At No.6,Imagine TVhas also lost a few points to record 66 GRPs this week (last week 75).

Star Onehas not seen any changes this week and registered 33 GRPs.Sahara Oneis the last in the league with 34 GRPs in week 41 (last week 36).
