Star Vijay has always been a pioneer in introducing captivating unique shows to the audience.  It won’t be out of place to mention that the channel has introduced numerable stars in the films industry in the past with magnanimous popularity.  To name a few are Sivakarthikeyan & Santhanam and in the recent past many comedians have established themselves as great talent in the film industry viz Dheena, Pugazh and so many others.   

In the line-up, adding a feather to the cap a new reality show titled ‘Kadha Naayagi’ will be launched on STAR VIJAY on 29 July 2023 airing Saturdays and Sundays at 9.30 pm to introduce a deserving female protagonist to the television industry.   A few weeks ago, a vigorous audition was held at various parts of Tamilnadu.  Hundreds of aspiring stars who wants to step into the career of acting participated in the audition with great enthusiasm.  Amongst them eight top contestants were chosen to be part of this show Kadha Nayagi show.  The unanimous aim of these participants is to become a famous heroine in one of Star Vijay’s fiction.  The selected contestants are from different walks of life but having one common inspiration to become a star in the acting field. 

Hence to motivate and to judge these contestants a convincing and exciting moderator have joined this show who are none other than actor RADHIKA SHARATHKUMAR and actor / director K.S. RAVIKUMAR. 

So, this unique concept will exhibit each contestant’s real character as well as how they cope up with the characters they are given to enact in the series of episodes.  There are many talented Tamil speaking ‘heroines’ in the show who are going to make it to a long way in the television industry soon.  The show will be hosted by ‘Kalakkapovathu Yaar’ fame Kureshi and Bala.
