Kochi, January 19th, 2024: With pride, Disney+ Hotstar announces the streaming of the Malayalam blockbuster movie “Neru”,from January 23rd. Neru, is the latest movie from the makers of Drishyam, uniting director Jeethu Jospeh and the complete Actor Mohanlal. The movie is written by Santhi Mayadevi and Jeethu Joseph together.
“NERU” is a gripping legal and emotional drama that unfolds the tale of Sara, a blind sculpture artist who seeks justice after a traumatic incident. Set against the backdrop of the Indian legal system, the story takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, deceit, and redemption.
Anaswara Rajan plays Sara, while Mohanlal plays Advocate Vijayamohan. The movie has an ensemble cast comprising of Siddique, Priyamani, Jagadish, Sreedhanya, Ganesh Kumar, Sankar Induchoodan, Aditi Ravi, Nandhu, Resmi Anil, Harikrishnan, Krishna Prabha, Dinesh Prabhakar and Poojappura Radhakrishnan. "Neru" is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
Critics and viewers loved the movie's great storytelling and strong performances from the cast. Jeethu Joseph did a fantastic job keeping everyone interested, and Anaswara's portrayal of Sara was outstanding, showing resilience convincingly.
