Star Plus brought to life in stunning HD

It's been long-awaited, often-discussed and it is finally here today. Star Plus HD is now available in the UK on the Sky platform, offering viewers an opportunity to watch all their favourite shows in the best HD video and audio quality available on TV. Star Plus HD is a simulcast version of the Star Plus SD feed.

This makes Star Plus HD the first & only Asian HD channel to broadcast in the UK.

The Star channels are the undisputed No.1 destination for reaching the largest Asian audience base in the UK that is both loyal and growing.

Star India and Zee TV say the focus on making the stories relevant to today's generation has led to the success. "Vyasa wrote the Mahabharat after the Vedas, to convey the same message as the Vedas but through a story," says Star India's programming head Danish Khan.
